Get your UK bin schedule now
Enter your email and I'll send a one-time link that unlocks the bin lookup tool. Works the same on iPhone or iPad, your address is never stored on the server.
You'll also go on the Kepthouse iOS waitlist, one email when the iPhone app launches, nothing else.
This tool is for iPhone and iPad users
Kepthouse for Android has bin reminders built in, with push notifications, colour-coded bin types, and automatic bank-holiday handling. That's a better experience than a calendar subscription.

Get your bin schedule
Enter your address and Kepthouse pulls your council's bin collection schedule. Your address is not stored, only used to look up your bins, and the calendar subscription URL contains a signed token (no plaintext address).

The subscription URL auto-refreshes daily. Your address is never stored on the server, it is encoded inside the calendar token. This will stop working when the Kepthouse iOS app launches, you'll get one email when that happens.

Questions
How does this work on iPhone?
Apple Calendar supports subscribing to remote calendar feeds (iCal / webcal). Kepthouse generates one of these feeds with your bin collection events, signs the URL so only you can use it, and Apple Calendar fetches it daily to stay current.
Do I need to install anything?
No. You use the Calendar app that came with your iPhone. The subscription is just a URL added to your calendar list.
How do I subscribe in Apple Calendar?
After you enter your address and pick your council, tap "Subscribe in Apple Calendar". iOS will confirm the subscription and add it to your calendar list. From then on it refreshes automatically.
What if my council changes the collection day for a bank holiday?
Kepthouse checks your council's schedule every day. Bank holiday shifts and route changes are picked up the next morning, and your calendar updates on its next refresh.
When will the Kepthouse iPhone app launch?
No public date yet, it's in active development. Everyone who signs up here gets a single email the moment it's live on the App Store.
Is this really free?
Yes. No payment, no trial, no locked features. It exists because I wanted a bin day reminder for my own iPhone while the native app is in development.
Does my address get stored anywhere?
No. Your address is encoded into the signed calendar URL and then discarded from the server. Each subscribed URL is unique to you, no database row holds your address.
