What's coming next

I build in the open. Here's what I'm working on and what's planned for the rest of 2026.

Summer 2026

June / July

Task Auto-Cleanup

Planned

When you complete a task, choose what happens next — delete it, archive it, or keep it on your list.

  • Prompted each time you tick off a task — nothing is deleted without your say-so
  • Set a default to skip the prompt if you prefer
  • Keeps your task list clean without losing history

Contact Search & Import

Planned

Quickly populate your contacts from multiple sources — no manual typing required.

  • Import from your phone book, Google Contacts, or a CSV file
  • Search for businesses — find tradespeople, utilities, and local services by name
  • Duplicate detection so the same contact isn't imported twice
  • Pick and choose which contacts to bring in — you're always in control

iOS Support

Planned

Kepthouse is coming to iPhone and iPad — full feature parity with the Android app.

  • Native iOS app, not a web wrapper
  • Syncs with the same household — works cross-platform with Android users

Autumn 2026

August – October
£

Cost of Ownership

Planned

See what each appliance has really cost you over its lifetime — purchase price, repairs, maintenance, everything.

  • Total lifetime cost per appliance, updated automatically from linked tasks and projects
  • Know when it's time to replace instead of repair

Subscription Discovery

Planned

Optionally connect your bank account to automatically find subscriptions you're paying for — then track them all in one place.

  • Securely connects to your bank via UK Open Banking — your credentials never touch Kepthouse
  • Identifies recurring payments and imports them as trackable subscriptions
  • See exactly what you're spending each month, get reminders before renewals, and spot subscriptions you've forgotten about
  • Completely optional — you never have to link financial data if you'd rather add subscriptions manually
  • Your bank data is never stored — Kepthouse reads your transactions once to find subscriptions, then forgets the rest
  • Works alongside everything else in Kepthouse — once your subscriptions are imported, link them to properties, set reminders, and track costs just like any other item

Household Sharing

Planned

Invite your family to share tasks, warranties, contacts, and reminders — all in sync across every device.

  • Manage your home from the app or a new web interface
  • One premium subscription covers up to 10 household members
  • Control who can edit what — by item type or individual item
  • Choose which reminders go to which household members
  • Real-time sync — changes appear on all devices within seconds

Moving House Pack

Planned

One tap generates a complete handover document for your buyer, tenant, or letting agent.

  • Includes appliance manuals, warranties, service history, meter locations, alarm codes, and tradesperson contacts
  • Branded PDF ready to email or print
  • Also useful for landlord compliance packs — gas safety, EICR, and EPC all in one document

Winter 2026

November – January

Product Recall Alerts

Planned

Kepthouse will check your appliances against UK product recall notices and notify you if something matches.

  • Matched against your appliances by make and model
  • Push notifications when new recalls are published

Flood Risk Zones

Planned

See your property's long-term flood risk at a glance — not just live warnings, but the underlying risk band for your location.

  • Flood risk zone shown on your property screen (low, medium, high)
  • Builds on the live Environment Agency flood warnings already in the app

Insurance Claim Pack

Planned

Select a room and get a document listing every appliance with photos, receipts, and purchase dates.

  • One-tap insurance evidence after a flood, fire, or theft
  • Uses photos and receipts you've already attached to your items

Leasehold Tools

Planned

Purpose-built tools for UK leaseholders — a gap no other app fills.

  • Lease years remaining with countdown — critical when approaching the 80-year threshold
  • Ground rent tracking with payment dates and reminders
  • Service charge tracking and Section 20 notice management

Theme Engine

Planned

Make Kepthouse look and feel the way you want — choose your own colour scheme and font size.

  • Pick from a range of accent colours or create your own palette
  • Adjustable font size for better readability
  • Pairs with existing light, dark, and system theme modes
