KeptHouse Beta Is Live — Here's How to Get Started

The closed beta is live on Google Play. Here's everything you need to get up and running.

Joining the Beta

To access the beta, you'll need to be a member of our Google Group. You should have received an invitation — check your email and accept it. If you can't find it, you can join the group directly here (you'll need to be signed into your Google account):

Once you're in the group, use one of these links to install the app:

A Quick Note From Mark

If you were one of the early testers who tried the link a few days ago and got an "app not available" message — sorry about that. This is my first time publishing an app on the Play Store, and I didn't realise that even closed betas need to go through Google's review process before testers can access them. That's now been sorted and the app is live.

KeptHouse is a solo project. I'm an indie developer building this in my spare time because I genuinely couldn't find a decent home maintenance app that wasn't bloated, subscription-gated from day one, or trying to sell me a new boiler. I wanted something simple that just works — and I hope that's what you'll find.

What You're Getting

This is a real, working app — not a prototype. You can track maintenance tasks, warranties, appliances, subscriptions, and service contacts all in one place. It backs up to your Google Drive, scans receipts with OCR, and runs entirely on your device with no tracking or analytics.

What I Need From You

Use it. Break it. Tell me what's missing. You can send feedback or leave a review directly from within the app.

If you were rewarded a premium subscription for opting into the beta early, this will activate when you sign in with the Google account you provided.

The app is free to use with up to 15 items. Premium subscriptions will be available at launch in early-to-mid April — including a 1-month free trial and a 50% launch discount.
