Beta Testers Wanted — Help Shape Kepthouse Before Launch

What is Kepthouse?

Kepthouse is a free Android app that puts all your home admin in one place: maintenance tasks, warranties, subscriptions, appliances, and service contacts.

No more juggling reminders, spreadsheets, and photo rolls. One app, everything linked together, with reminders that actually fire before things are due — not after.

What's already built

This isn't a landing page with a waitlist. The app is fully functional and ready for real use:

• Recurring maintenance tasks with priorities, categories, and configurable reminders
• Warranty tracking with expiry countdowns, status badges, and receipt photo scanning (OCR)
• Subscription management with monthly/yearly cost totals and renewal alerts
• Appliance registry with brand, model, serial number, and purchase details
• Service contacts with ratings, trade types, and last-used dates
• Linked items — connect a warranty to the appliance it covers, or a task to the tradesperson who does the work
• Google Drive backup with scheduled auto-backup
• Global search, CSV export, dark mode, and more

Everything runs locally on your device. No account required. No analytics. No ads. Your data never leaves your phone unless you choose to back it up to your own Google Drive.

What we need from you

We're looking for 20 people to join the closed beta on Google Play. Here's what that involves:

1. You'll need an Android phone (Android 8.0 or newer — basically anything from 2017 onwards)
2. I'll add your Google account email to the test group
3. You'll get a link to opt in and install via Google Play
4. Use the app for at least 14 days — add your real home stuff, or just poke around
5. Tell me what's broken, confusing, or missing — that's the whole point

You don't need to be technical. You don't need to file formal bug reports. A quick message saying "this bit confused me" or "I wish it did X" is exactly what I need.

Every beta tester who completes the full 14-day testing period gets lifetime free access to Kepthouse Premium. No subscription, no expiry — it's yours forever as a thank-you for helping shape the app.

Google requires a closed testing period before an app can go live on the Play Store. But this isn't just box-ticking — I genuinely want feedback from people who deal with home maintenance, warranties, and all that tedious admin.
